I guess from a viewers perspective, there is never a positive look at things even with a loss. Usually, most social commentary centres around a mistake, and it's sack that player, then there's a plan that clearly hasnt been orchestrated perfectly. The team loses, and it's Ange out. For players, Kulu people quickly forget his last-minute winners and focus on his out of form, saying he isn't capable of playing Ange ball. it's happened to Richy and Johnson and Son. The narrative is that we want our players playing to their potential and not out of the club because the contribution made by each of them is significant. If the team didn't win, let's blame the coach, the player, its Levy, and the negative is the main focus. Rather, it was cmon lads we know you've got more rather than this get rid of him, he can do it, hes not good enough. I'll back every player in my team even at their worst because tottenhams my team and i know my team is better with encouragement. Im not a manager, but i back ours because he's proven - he's in the sheds, he knows the psyche of his players, and better than most, he knows what else we need. Re: Ange post match meltdown vs Man City. I think it is a combination of Ange belief that it is wrong to want to deliberately lose the match but also the occasion/circumstances ruin his parade. You see in terms of Ange influence, he will say number 1 his dad, number 2 is Puskus. However in his autobiography Pep Guardiola was cited as a direct influence of his Brisbane Roar team and the inverted full back influence him in Yokohama even if he used them differently to Pep. Pep Guardiola is likely number 3 in terms of influence. During the 3-3 draw post match press conference he seemed honoured that Pep not just publicly praised Ange which could be due to politeness but in private as well “I guess from his behalf, he's always been, not just publicly but privately, always very complimentary about me and my work. Not always directly to me but I've found out through other sources and coming from someone like him I have great respect for.” So Pep is a manager that strongly influence his career where there is mutual respect. I believe one of his bucket list he wants to achieve in his career is to win a match against Pep Guardiola. So this whole circus of deliberately losing to City to prevent the title to Arsenal essentially distract him what could have been a dream/goal in life and if he actually won against City and achieved his goal, Spurs fan would have hated him for that and this is why Ange is pissed as it ruin the occasion for him.

Now look Tottenham beating Man City doesn’t mean anything in the long term future of the club especially if it is a fluke back to the wall win. However Tottenham beating Man City by outplaying them ie playing attacking possession based football and essentially beating Man City at their own game. Wouldn’t that show hope for the future that maybe there is something in Angeball rather than just being a myth and maybe Ange may bring success to the club.

It is not a question of whether they will assist us. It is more a matter of whether they desire to participate in the Champions League next season.
